Welcome to Cuidiú/The Irish Childbirth Trust's parent/toddler group. Our branch was set up in 1986 by mothers from Dublin and Cork Cuidiu-ITC. We hope that within our group you and your children will find support and friendship.
Cuidiu/Irish Childbirth Trust is a parent to parent community based voluntary support group.
It's motto is education and support for parenthood.
What do we have to offer you?
- We hold coffee mornings from 10.30 to 12.30 am every Friday (school term)
In the Social Center, Second floor, Castlebar- The children have toys to play and a snack is provided.
- Nappy changing
- A restricted area for Breast-feeding
- There is a small library
- Antenatal support
- Breast-feeding support.
- Educational courses
- Social events
- We are currently training some of our members to become
postnatal support and breastfeeding counselorsTo help towards upkeep and refreshments
there is a charge of £1.00 for members and £1.50 for non-membersWhat can you do for us?
