 FAS FÁS Traineeships are a new model of training involving periods of off-the-job and on-the-job training. Traineeships cover a wide range of different occupations. Duration is full-time from 4 months up to 2 years. Training is designed in a modular form in co-operation between FÁS and employer organisations e.g. Chambers of Commerce and delivered within participating companies and FÁS locations. The selection of trainees for Traineeships is carried out at local level by FÁS, in co-operation with the companies involved. While on the programme, participants receive normal training allowances from FÁS. For further information contact your local FÁS
