We at GBSC are looking forward to hosting a great event July 9th - 13th 2003

The Galway Bay Cruiser Championships 2003
Incorporating WIORA, NORA and the J24 Westerns.

John Preisler and his event organising team have been busy all winter organising the event. Sponsorship has now been secured, Notice of Race is being circulated and moorings are being prepared. The official press launch will take place on the LE Emer on March 22nd, so it's full steam ahead.

As I am sure you appreciate, the earlier we get confirmation of entrants the more prepared we can be for your arrival. The closing date is May 1st, but earlier bookings would be very much appreciated.

What can you expect when you arrive?

Guaranteed moorings for those who enter by May 1st
Ferry service on weekend prior to the event
Ferry service which will operate from 8am - 8pm during the event
Crane lift-in for J24s
Ample car parking
Sandwiches available for purchase prior to racing
Excellent racing - Peter Crowley is the OD for the event
Corporate 60 foot Catamaran
Hot food available after racing
Full entertainment package - Music in marquee Wed, Thurs & Sat nights
Treasure Trail around Galway City pubs Friday night
Prize giving every evening at 8pm
