MAYO YACHT 'ROCKABILL' WINS WIORA Congratulations to Robin and Linda Smith of Mayo Sailing Club, Westport who were proud winners of the West of Ireland Offshore Racing Association Championships (WIORA) held last week in Fenit, Co. Kerry. Their boat, 'Rockabill', a First 30, beat a large fleet of 28 challengers from all over the West coast to win the championship outright. They finished a very close second in WIORA 2000. 'Rockabill's' crew comprises of Robin and Linda Smith, their daughters Sarah and Karen, Peter Moran, Bob Kilkelly, Damien Cashin, Joe McGovern and John Murray. |
