FILM REVIEW.

THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT.

When this film first appeared in America the public were led to believe that the events and footage in the film were real and the American film goes actually believed that the actors were dead.

Because of this the viewers were much more scared and if people in this country had not known it was plain fiction they would have enjoyed it much more.

The story is basically about three college students who go in search of the Blair Witch. As legend goes the Blair Witch would kidnap children and kill them two by two, with one facing the corner while she killed the other as she could not bear their eyes watching her.

Within two days of the search, the students: Heather, Josh and Mike enter the forest, lose their map and lose their way. Soon, at night they begin to hear noises, the sound of children crying and loud bangs. Then Josh disappeared.

As Heather and Mike's inevitable fate looms before them, they begin to lose all hope of ever escaping from the woods and the nightmare that was the Blair Witch.

This movie relies on your imagination and the power of suggestion. Once, you see a lot of slime that you actually can't see and later you see a blood stained shirt. Apart from that you are totally relying on the actors emotions.

This is the type of film that you love or hate, and if you love it I guarantee you will be hearing strange noises late at night for weeks.
