Helicopter Pit Stop on the New Town Park

A helicopter made a landing on the New Town Park quite close to Scoil Raifteirí. Sometime later some people arrived carrying what looked to be fuel cans. After delivering the contents of the cans the engine started and the helicopter began to take off. As I watched in amazement as the helicopter hovered a few meters above the ground and started to move forward across the New Town Park heading towards a very dangerous situation of overhead ESB power lines that run across the park. The pilot flew the helicopter under and very close to the power lines and continued down through the park before turning around and heading back the same way and gaining height and disappearing into the sky.
