We read about the salt in our seas helping things to float and especially in the Dead Sea, where even people can float.
So here we are putting lots of salt in one container and none in the other.

We put an egg into each container and look at what happened.
The egg in the salty water is floating!

We also learned about evaporation. Here we put water in a bowl. Then we put a small empty plastic cup into the bowl and covered the bowl with a plastic bag. We placed a stone on top of the bag and left the bag on a sunny window-sill.

After a week, we looked inside.
The small plastic cup is no longer empty - it has water inside
and we can see drops of water on the plastic bag.
The water in the bowl had evaporated, hit the cold stone
and then fell back again like rain into the plastic cup.
