Carracastle School Retirement

The retirement took place from Carracastle Scoil Íosa National School on Friday 20th June of Mr. Paddy Murray N.T.. Paddy is a native of Coolgreaney, Co. Wexford. He taught in Wolverhampton, Birmingham and in Dublin before finally settling in the parish of Carracastle where he taught for thirty years. A mass and presentation function in the school was well attended by colleagues, parents and pupils past and present. Presentations from the staff, Board af Management and pupils were made and Paddy received the good wishes of all as he leaves the classroom after forty years and begins his retirement.
