Welcome to Mrs Berrys Class Web page 07.
These are some of our story bags that we made this year.
Story bag
First it involved going to the senior infants classes and asking them what they liked in stories. Once we had the information we went back to class. They told us that they liked action, bright pictures, big pictures and long stories
But we were not allowed to do long stories. Then we had to decide on a plot and a title. We decided on guy man and Bob boy. Then I {John} started to write it. When I had it finished I typed it out. Then when I had that finished Darragh started the illustration, which took about a week. Finally we had to do the puppets, which took another week . After all that work we finally got to read it . It went down great. The End

Story Bag
First we made a list to see what the senior infants liked in a story . When they finished it we read it and they said they liked long stories and colourful pictures . Then we went back to class and drew some of the characters . Then we talked about what it would be about and after we were finished we started writing it out . Then when we finished it we wrote it out on the computer then we printed it and drew pictures and made puppets and then we were finished . David Glynn
How we made a Story bag

First we went down to Ms. Forde`s class.
We went to a table and told them we were making a
Story bag and asked what they wanted in it.
We then wrote down a story plan and made up characters.
We then made the main characters into puppets.
After that we made up a story that matched the plan and puppets.

Our Story Bag

Our story bag was a lot of hard work. It was a project to make a story for the senior infant classes. First we went down to their classes and asked them questions eg. What types of books do you like? Then we came back with the information and had to think of the name, the plot and the characters. When we had the story finished we had to draw the pictures and do the cover. It took a while but when we had it done we laminated the front and back and binded them together. We soon had the book done but we had to do the puppets. They did not take as long so it was finished in no time.
