Museum
We have recently set up a class museum.
It contains things people had long ago. We have some old money,
an old camera, some old records, old books (including a Gaelic Games
annual from 1964), an Eagles concert ticket from the 80's and two
very rusty old horseshoes. Click here

For Hallowe'en we created
some paper mache pumpkins. Firstly we had to blow up balloons &
then we covered them with layers and layers of newspaper using wallpaper
paste to stick them. We then had to wait about four days for them
to dry before we painted them orange with a green stem on top. Finally
we covered them with a mixture of PVA glue & water to put a shine
on them. Olga then cut the top off them & as a surprise on the
day of the holidays out teacher put some lollipops & sweets in
them before we went home. |
|
We learned all
about the famous artist Vincent Van Gogh & we created our impressions
of one of his most famous paintings 'Starry night's'. We drew them
first. Then coloured them in crayon. Finally we painted the pachgroung
using a watered down blue paint. |

We love to write stories in
class & our teacher has great fun reading them. We hope you enjoy
them too.
HORRORWEEN!!!!!!!!

You won't believe this story but it IS true. It all began when my friends
and I were trick-or-treating. My friends' names were Kenneth, Sam and
Cormac. We knocked on the door of an old house. The door creaked open.
We went inside. Hello shouted Cormac. We walked further in. Suddenly Kenneth
stopped. Did you hear that? He asked. No. What was it? I answered. I don't
know he said. About 5 minutes later he stopped again. I'm sure I heard
something this time he said. Unfortunately he was right. We all heard
this time. It was very soft but able to be heard. We all turned and ran
for the door. We ran true the door but we didn't hear the loud, happy
noise we wanted to hear we only heard nothing. Then I heard Sam scream.
I turned to see what was wrong and I saw a Ghost with 3 skeletons behind
him. The ghost chased me and the skeletons chased the 3 others. He chased
me all over town. I hid behind a house and then I saw Kenneth, Sam and
Cormac all shouting and laughing like they never even saw that Haunted
house. Why are ye all so happy? I asked, and where are the skeletons?
Well the one that chased me ran into a rock and I threw his bones all
over town" said Kenneth. Mine tripped over a rock and I built him
up the wrong way" said Sam. What
. The words never got
out. We had all heard a big bang. We ran around the front of the house
and we saw the haunted house crash to the ground. Everything came back
to normal and we never spoke about it ever again.

THE GHOST OF GEORGE SHAKESPEAR.
One day on the last rugby game
of the season.
It was the last minute of the game.
One of my teammates scored a goal and we won the game.
After the game I got on the bus.
Soon we came to a forest and the bus broke down.
I got of the bus and went into the woods.
I soon came to an abandoned campsite.
My friend followed me into the woods.
We went into the mane tent.
We saw a chessboard.
With ships and army tanks.
Then a cold shiver ran up my spine.
Then a cold hand touched the back of my neck.
I turned round and there floating right in front of me was the ghost of
George Shakespeare!!!
My friend heard me yell and turned round as well and we both legged it
back to the bus

Trick or Treat
One night my friend and me were walking down the street. We knocked on
the door of a house.
We went inside and we went up stairs and we saw a golden ghost. We saw
a horse running and it knocked us down the stairs. We went up the stairs
and we thought the wall was invisible and we walked in to it. Conor G's
friend got injured. We went in to a room full of blood.
Conor went in and nothing happened and after a minute Conor saw a ghost.
He got scared. Our friend got killed and we ran into a room.
We went into the press and the headless horse looked for us. He never
found us.

Hallowe'en Town
You wont believe this story but it's true
It was a dark and stormy night when I went out and I fell into a black
hole.
Then I was in a place called Halloween Town.
The witches were real and the skeletons were real. Everything was real.
I tried to get into a nice house but they ran after me. I went in to a
bedroom they burned it down.
I finally found my way home.

Spooky Story
It was a very spooky night.
I was nine years old when it happened knocked on the door and then all
of a sudden I got sucked into the house. It was pitch dark for a second
then a candle lit up and a ghost said my name. He had an axe in his hand.
I ran as fast as I could ran through every in the house until I found
a door that let me out. It was guarded by the ghost threw a sweet down
the hallway and the ghost went down to check what it was. I ran as fast
as I could. The ghost was coming behind me but I just got out in time.
