There once was a dragon of death
Who lived in the waters depths
He would burn a volcano with his firery breath
He sleeps for most of the day

When he woke he was sad,
He groaned and groaned and got mad.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Book Review
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a good book written by Roald Dahl and illustrated by Quentin Blake. Roald Dahl has a good imagination. I feel it was set in the past and the future. I think this story is for 8-11 years old. The characters in the story are Augustus Gloop a greedy boy, Violet Beauregarde a girl who chews gum all day, Mike Teavee is a boy who is addicted to TV Veruca Salt is a girl who is spoiled by her parents. Mr. Willy Wonka the owner of the chocolate factory and Charlie Bucket the finder of the last Golden tickets. This book did not surprise me because I had seen the movie.

The author of Charlie and the chocolate factory is Roald Dahl. His jobs were the shell oil company a fighter jet pilot in the second world war. Charlie and the chocolate factory is an average book .It is very predictable. It was a set in no time. The characters are Augustus Gloop who is a greedy boy. Veruca Salt is a girl who is spoiled by her parents. Violet Beauregarde is a girl who chews gum all day long. Mike Teavee a boy who does nothing but watch tv and Charlie bucket the hero. This book was a little good but very slow. Charlie had four Grandparents and a Mum and a Dad.

These are some of the activities we did
throughout the year.
Hurling.
Every Wednesday for the last two years we played hurling.
Our coach is Ger. White. He plays for the Mayo seniors.
He thought us how to jab lift, rolls lift, double on the ball, deflect the ball and aim are shots.
At the start we played all ground hurling but now we play full hurling.
In training we do drills and we play snatch the bacon.
A lot of the people that went hurling joined Castlebar Mitchels hurling club because
they liked hurling at school.
When it was snowing he let us have a snow fight.

This year we are in fourth class and we did tag rugby every Friday.
We played it after big break.
Our coach's name is Simon O'Malley and he plays rugby for the Castlebar seniors.
At first we played games like snatch the bacon and tip rugby.
Now we play tag rugby and drills.
A couple of people joined Castlebar rugby club because they like playing rugby at school.
He thought us how to pop pass and he also thought us how to spin pass.
