Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J. K. Rowling The main characters in the story are Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermoine Granger. This is a story about a boy called Harry Potter attending a school of witchcraft and wizardry. It is a boarding school. Harry and his friends were in the first year at the school. The language in the book is quite hard to understand and pronounce. It took quite a while to follow the story line. I would recommend this story to 11-13 year olds because it had a lot of different adventures and younger people might not understand them all. By Michael D
The story is about a boy called Harry Potter and he has to go to a wizard school but he knows not a thing about magic. There is Harry Potter the main character and there is Ron Harrys friend there is Albus Dumbledore the school head and theres Hermione the show off and least Hagrid the first wizard Harry met. I like the bit when he puts on the sorting hat. I dont like Malfoy the wizard who is pushing Harry around. On the cover it shows the train of Hogwarts and Harry looking at it. I would say its for age 10 up. In the book there is 223 pages. Reviewed by Thomas |
