Castlebar Tidy Town congratulates Westport on their achievement in winning the Tidy Towns Competition 2008. A tremendous effort by all involved.

Congratulations and thanks also to the people of Castlebar for their effort. The town marginally improved its position and was congratulated by the adjudicators on the effort and the many positive features of the town.  Whilst there is somewhat to go, the progress of the last few years is a solid foundation to make a serious effort to achieve overall success in the near future. Together we can reach the top echelon.
