About commercial promotion.. what about the possibility of banner advertising on the site? The eircom logo has already been introduced on the front page and given the amount of hits that are being recorded here, it could probably be a lucrative spot for the site owners to cash in on some advertising, especailly from local business.
I don't have much of an opinion. If advertising helps to support the quality of the service then that's good, as long as the advertising is not too obtrusive, I guess.
