I think it being near the end of the year, that I should nominate my favourite characters on the BB;
TOM MURPHY.
Tom’s been on the board for a while, a long time, possibly even longer than me. Tom distinguishes himself from the rest of us by always writing his name in capital letters. I can’t figure out why, but knowing Tom as I do, I’m sure he has his reasons.
Tom’s pet subjects are the Castlebar Tennis Club and racing at the Curragh. Taking advantage of the free advertising space on the bb, Tom regaled us with tales of the riches to be won at the Curragh.
Nice one Tom.
MASTER ZERO
Another hero of mine that is prone to the CapsLock key. MZ, as he is known to his admirers, started out annoying everyone on the board, and often had the contributors up in arms over his seemingly inane comments. Many of us now suspect that MZ is the true master of this board with his cunning stupidity and cruel turn of CapsLock key.
MZ we salute you.
PJ
Once an avid contributor to the Guestbook on the site, PJ did not know what to make of the place once the bb was taken over by the ‘Friday Club’. Bravely he fought a read-guard action to defend his little plot of cyberspace, though after a valiant and determined battle, the bould PJ admitted defeat. He now shares his time and bytes of wisdom with the rest of us.

M
Finally, the eponymous M. He or she has over the past few months had to take a more active role in the management of the bb. A job few would envy. Dealing with the libellous, the inane and the downright dishonourable has been the lot of M for many months.
