MUSIC NIGHT Saturday 27th February @ 8.00pm

Batafada - Samba Band

After a rollercoaster year that included performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Volvo Ocean Race Festival in Galway, the various bands and groups from Crimlin Community Arts perform in concert at the Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar on Saturday 27th February at 8 pm. The show will feature the Batafada Samba band, Na Ciotógaí, Rockafada, Pipa Riba, Joe Mc Hale, the Crimlin Pipe Band Drummers and Bata Óg. Special guest artists on the night will be the world renowned local traditional musician Emer Mayock and friends. The concert will showcase a wonderful variety of musical styles from traditional to folk and from samba to bagpipes and song with a touch of dance thrown in.
