On The Edge - Contemporary Glass from Ireland and South West England

LINENHALL GALLERY Friday 6th - Saturday 28th August

An exhibition of contemporary glass, demonstrating the vast possibilities of glass as a powerful creative medium for expression. On The Edge features a range of two- and three-dimensional work displaying techniques both familiar and novel by 20 artists from Ireland and South West England whose work represents some of the finest in contemporary glass work. The artists represented are: Roísín dé Buitléar, Sean Campbell, Donna Coogan, Debbie Dawson, Fiaz Elson, Sally Fawkes, Rosalind Grimshaw, Chinks Grylls, Joseph Harrington, Susan Kinley, Mary Mackey, Caroline Madden, Emma O'Toole, Emmy-Gai Palmer, Colin Reid, Louise Rice, Killian Schurmann, Keith Seybert, Will Shakspeare, Suzannah Vaughan, and Carole Waller.

This stunning and beautiful show is a touring exhibition organised by Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum, Chinks Grylls and Mary Mackey in partnership with Crafts Council of Ireland.

On the Edge was officially opened by poet Susan Minish on Friday 6th August.

Admission to the exhibition is free.
