Unusual grave-marker at Straide Friary

An unusual 'matchstick man' type of grave marker at Strade friary seems to have been incised on an earlier cross-inscribed stone. The figure’s ‘torso’ is made up of the upright section of the cross, while the crossbeam, which is very degraded due to weathering, is barely visible below the figure's 'shoulders'.

It would appear that the original cross had slightly expanded terminals, though it is difficult to be certain of this.

Does anyone have any details of its history ?

The photo shows the stone well lit in the recent sunny conditions.
