Prof. Dáibhí Ó Cróinín, History Dept., NUI Galway, will be the guest speaker at a meeting of the Westport Civic Trust to be held in the Atlantic Coast Hotel, Westport, on Tuesday, April 17th at 8 pm.

The title of his illustrated lecture is "Anglo-Saxon origins of Mayo Abbey".
