All I want (Not just me but I'd say everyone that gets frustrated trying to access the CT on-line) is for someone from the CT to come out and explain (On their website as a minimum) or on this site, why a supposedly modern Newspaper in the business of publishing and presumably computerised can't by some automated process take a small section of that digital information each week and put it on their website at the same time as they're actually publishing their newspaper?
If there was some technical or some such problem we'd understand but I've recieved e-mails from the CT assuring me that "when our new site is up and running" they'd keep it current and up to date. I think it's been up and running now for almost 6 months.
OH AND as a footnote, I do regard the CT as a great historic resource and archive for Castlebar and indeed the whole country (Michael Mullen has long praised the CT as such a source for the research of his books). It would be great if their website could reflect that great resource rather than the few token historical articles they have on there.
