I for one would be interested to know what percentage of bikes have proper lights. Id say very few indeed. Come to think of it we have driving tests so why not cycling tests. A lot of cycilists out there seem to think that such concepts as roundabouts, one way streets, right of way, signalling, Traffic lights, Lane dicipline, Pedestrian crossings, Stop/Yield signs, safe parking and even which side of the road they should be on are only for motorists. and thats just the ones who cycle on the road (as opposed to the footpath) I should go easy on the 'oul cycilists though. I might be one myself after I do this this blasted MOT.
