Thanks for that Paul. Good to hear we're online again. (It's over two years since we put out our last realaudio on www.castlebar.ie) We think the problem was to do with paths. The ramgen switch managed to get the realplayer launched OK but couldn't find the file if the user was on a remote network. Similar to the kind of problems you get with cgi/perl script paths - takes a while to debug them at first.
We are using realproducer 7 at present and then we ftp (wsftp) or just copy the files directly to the realserver as the encoder is on the same network as the realserver. The only thing we're using frontpage for at present is the BB here and we're not that happy with it in comparison with the original cgi version as it is quite buggy.
wrt minidiscs we're using Sony with an editing deck with analogue and digital output.
