The Folklore of Ireland Society and the National Museum of Ireland - Country Life

Dr. Séamas Mac Philib, curator at the National Museum of Ireland - Country Life, Turlough Park, Castlebar has been invited to present a lecture to The Folklore of Ireland Society.

" Iascaireacht Fionnuisce agus Farraige - na teicnící traidisiúnta agus an treallamh" will look at traditional methods of sea and freshwater fishing and the associated gear and artefacts.

The lecture will be held in Room B207 in the Newman (Arts) Building, UCD, Belfield, Dublin 4 on Monday 29 January 2007 at 7.30 p.m.
