NEW TEMPORARY EXHIBITION
Sponges and Transfers: early crockery patterns and Designs.
13 December 2005 - 26 February 2006.
Featuring a large collection of spongeware and transfer mugs acquired by the National Museum of Ireland in 2004. Further information available from the Marketing Dept.

EDUCATION PROGRAMME

Wednesday 14 December: 2.30pm - 3.30pm
Workshop & Demonstration. The Mummers. Interested in acting and plays?
Learn part of a Mummer's play with Joe McGowan and then perform your part with the 'Sidhe Gaoithe' Mummers on 1st January. Location: Education Rooms

Sunday 18 December: 2.30pm - 3.30pm
Tour & Workshop: Sponges & Transfers, a Temporary Exhibition of Earthenware Mugs
Look at the techniques and designs on these popular household objects and then decorate your own ceramic piece with Tom Doyle of the Education & Outreach Department.   Location: Education Rooms

Groups who would like to arrange a repeat of any event should contact the Education & Outreach Dept.
