There is a treat in store for hillwalkers and lovers of the great outdoors over the May Bank Holiday weekend Saturday May 3rd to Monday May 5th 2003.
North West Mayo Hillwalkers Club are hosting their second annual walking festival. The walks consist mainly of moderate and strenuous Cliff and Hill walks set amid some of the most spectacular scenery in the country. Participants are recommended to bring along strong walking boots, adequate rainwear and an ample supply of food & drinks.
Entertainment will be provided nightly in Belderrig Research Centre with set dancing and cabaret by Local Youth Group. Everybody is welcome to attend the night time entertainment.
