From www.castlebar.ie Leisure Well it was a great day out by all accounts, okay the results in both the minor and the senior game didn't go our way but our boys gave a good account of themselves and sure they're not out of it yet. A uniquely Irish event this, if you've never gone to a GAA match then don't knock it 'til you're tried it - you can taste the excitment and feel the dread.
Heaven and hell all at the same time is the only was to describe it.
We were lucky enough to spend some time after the match taking another view of the heavens at the airshow in Salthill. Twas a nice way to round off the day.
