Some pictures of some young swallows getting ready for the long flight to Africa later this month. Also - some pictures of the terrain that they won't see again for another 8 months.

He's not much bigger than the drops of water on the clothes line!


Not sure if this is the same bird.

Finally a beach in Co Kerry looking out at the Skellig rocks. I don't know which is rarer a Swallow in October or two men hurling on a beach in Kerry?
