Fluid Performance Troupe - Salome

Based on Oscar Wilde’s original play, Salome is a puppet operetta that brings together life-size puppets, Egyptian dance and a group of classical singers.
A lecherous Herod persuades the young and beautiful Salome to dance for him but gets more than he bargained for. Geared towards an adult audience, Fluid Performance Troupe has come together with Mayo Arts Squad to produce this corrupt, macabre and fascinating performance.
Conceived by Carmel Balfe in collaboration with Mayo Arts Squad.
The Salome project is supported by Mayo County Council.
