From www.castlebar.ie General Mayo County Council have placed a 24-hour security guard around a Clew Bay beach following the finding of two Gold torcs. National Museum experts date the torcs at approximately 3200 years old. Archaeologists are combing the sand dunes at the beach in the hope of finding a more extensive collection of artefacts.
