This Thursday evening 23rd November at 8.00pm sharp in room SR14, GMIT, Castlebar, Castlebar Camera Club members will be enjoying a night of practical Still Life and Macro photography led by member Michael Gannon. Cameras, tripods, flashguns etc will all be needed as well as a selection of small items, back-cloths to assemble the still life studies against. It will be another night of great practical photography, not to be missed.

Congratulations to members Michael Gannon, Christine Reilly & Sheridan Gilmartin who last weekend in Portlaoise gained their Licentiateship of The Irish Photographic Federation while member Kevin Murphy gained his Associateship. These Distinctions are awarded by the Federation to confirm that the photographers have reached a designated level of photographic skill, the Licentiateship being the basic level and The Associateship several grades higher, so well done to you all and keep up the good work.

This first half of the season at Castlebar Camera Club has flown by whether at talks, practical sessions indoors and out, travelling to workshops and competitions so if you are interested drop in to our Thursday evening sessions at the above address and join in the activities.
