Change of date for Underage Presentation Night Please note the change of date*****The underage presentation night will be in An Sportlann on Friday December 15th at 6.30pm. Medals will be presented to the under 10s, 12’A’, 14 ‘A’ and 14‘B’ teams who won their respective championships this year. All are welcome to attend. Under 8s training indoor Under 8 training is on this Wednesday 13th in An Sportlann Hall from 6.30pm to 7.30pm but will take a break then until after Christmas. Under 14 training Under 14 training is on Sunday afternoons at 12.30pm at An Sportlann pitch. Visit of the Loughrea Hurling Team Connaught hurling champions Loughrea, under the guidance of former Castlebar Mitchels hurling coach Gavin Keary, visited Castlebar on Saturday night last on a team bonding exercise as they get ready for the challenge of the All-Ireland series. They were joined by many members of the Mitchels hurling club and were in fine voice as they handed out some prestigious awards to team members! Loughrea won the Galway championship this year for the first time in 65 years and later beat Athleague in the Connaught final.
