Snugboro advanced to the second round of the AIB challenge cup with a comprehensive victory away to Conn Rangers B on Sat evening last.
The 'Boro' created the bulk of the goal scoring chances in the opening half and took the lead in the 35th min when Brian Healy controlled a Barry Kelly cross and slotted home.

The second half was a mere 8 mins old when John Roughneen produced a right foot rocket from 30 yards to double the lead and put Snugboro firmly in the driving seat whose creative mid field play produced further chances.
Joe McDonnell, with practically his first touches after being sprung from the bench stormed through the defence to finish cooly to the net to make the score 3-0 to the visitors.

Snugboro finished the game with a flourish when goalkeeper Frank Scully came forward to convert a penalty kick and Stevie Clarke lobbed home from the edge of the area.
