Oxfam Ireland Opens New Charity Shop in Castlebar
Oxfam Ireland is pleased to announce that it is coming to Castlebar. On Friday 30th August, Oxfam’s latest charity shop will open in Market Square under the capable management of local woman Catherine Cunniffe and her team of volunteers.

"For several years now Oxfam has been looking for the right location to open a shop in Castlebar" said Trevor Anderson , Oxfam Ireland’s Retail Manager. " We now believe we have the perfect site and we hope the people of Castlebar will support us".

As with all Oxfam shops in 35 locations throughout Ireland, the shop will sell a large selection of great-value clothes, books and bric-a-brac donated by the public to raise funds for Oxfam’s work overseas. Oxfam works with some of the poorest people in over 70 countries throughout the Developing World.

If you would like to donate goods or books to Oxfam or volunteer even a few hours of your time each week to working in the shop, please contact Catherine Cunniffe on 094 34876 or just call into the shop at Market Square.
