Quarterly Club Meeting
The next club meeting will be held in the Welcome Inn hotel on Thu Nov 7 at 9 pm. This meeting will discuss Football, Hurling and the new Draft Constitution and will give members an opportunity to submit proposals and/or nominations for the County Board Convention. Motions, nominations etc for the County Board Convention must be submitted to the Board by Mon Nov 11. Although the AGM is only around the corner, this meeting is being called to enable members to have an input into the County Board as the date of the AGM will be after the closing date for nominations.

New Function Rooms
Work on the new function rooms is making steady progress and it is expected that we will be in a position to announce an opening date in the near future. Allied to this, the development plan is well advanced and it is expected that major developments will be announced in the next few weeks. Of course the plans that are in being will need funding and a special action plan has been put into place. All members and indeed supporters and the community in general will be asked to take ownership of these developments which will put the Sportlann/McHale Park facilities foremost among the sporting and recreational amenities.Watch this space for further exciting news.

For the many supporters living away from home this facility is proving to be very worthwhile and it is hoped to continue the developments in this area.
