New Raised Bog SACs
IPCC are delighted to announce the names of the 24 new raised bog Special Areas of Conservation (SAC's) that were recently designated by Minister Martin Cullen T.D.
With this move, a further 3,450 hectares of raised bog are now afforded the protection of the EU Habitats Directive. The new raised bog SACs are as follows:
