From www.castlebar.ie CCFE The staff of CCFE would like to wish all those who attended the FETAC Level 2 Certificate course in Marketing the best of success in the future. Many of the students have decided to continue their marketing career by engaging in further studies leading to Diploma and Degree courses at various Institutes of Technology. Others on the course have taken up successful Trainee Management positions in major retailing outlets. This course is designed to provide a broad-based foundation to the 4 P's of marketing: product development, pricing, promotion, and places of distribution. In addition, students are exposed to market research, consumer and organisational behaviour and retailing. The students on the course have developed essential skills to enable them to commence a career in marketing. "Businesses are recognising the importance of employing and retaining individuals with the most up to date knowledge and skills in marketing and this course aims to teach those skills", said Course Teacher Mr Bill Flynn. "This course gave me the opportunity to advance my career in the business sector and the confidence to realise my potential", said one student.
