Congratulations and best wishes are offered to students who successfully completed the Nursing Studies Post Leaving Cert course at Castlebar College of Further Education in 2004. A large number of students graduating from the FETAC Level 2 Certificate in Nursing Studies at CCFE have secured places in various Universities and Institutes of Technology all over Ireland and England. Students will attend NUI Cork, Galway Mayo Institute of Technology, Trinity College Dublin, Sligo IT, Letterkenny IT and the University of Anglia and Hertfordshire. For many years, the Nursing Studies course at CCFE has enjoyed great success in enabling PLC and mature students realise their ambitions in securing a place on a Diploma or Degree course in Nursing. The Nursing Studies class of 2000, will this year graduate as fully qualified Nurses. "Congratulations to all of CCFE’s past students who are graduating with a Nursing diploma this year. This is a wonderful achievement and all at CCFE are delighted for you" said Ms Teresa McDaid, Nursing Studies Teacher. Entry requirements for the 1 year full-time Nursing Studies course are a Leaving Certificate level of education or equivalent. There has been a huge interest in the Nursing Studies course this year.
