Siobhan Kilkenny, who plays for the Lady Jaspers of Manhattan College, New York, has just been named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending 9 February 2003. According to the Manhattan College Website Siobhan "was a vital component in helping the Lady Jaspers (13-8, 10-2) win their 10th straight game. After defeating both Niagara and Canisius, Manhattan is in first place in the conference. She averaged 18 ppg, 6 rpg, 4.5 apg and 4.0 spg for the week."

The Jaspers defeated Siena 65-57 to win the 2003 EUS Communications MAAC Basketball Championship and advance to the NCAA Tournament. Prior to that the Siobhan played a major role in her team's win against Canisius with five consecutive points in a run of 12 for the Jaspers! She is profiled on the college team website and her track record, now in her fourth season at Manhattan College, is extremely impressive.
