Welcome to Art Matters, the newsletter for everyone with an interest in painting as a hobby.
We hope to cover topics of interest to the beginner and improver in oils, acrylics & watercolours.
Why Art ? Many people fancy trying their hand at painting when the see a TV artist at work on the box.
Others were good at it in school and want to take it up again.
Some want a relaxing hobby and indeed there's no better way to leave the world behind than to get engrossed in painting a picture !
In our first issue we hope to offer a fairly general overview, with more detailed articles later on.
