Christmas Lights on the Mall

Simple white lights - much better than blue LEDs which seem to have sprung up everywhere.

Digital cameras allow dark subjects to be photographed fairly easily once you have a tripod or something steady to put the camera on. This exposure is 0.6 second at f 5.6 ISO 100.

Christmas Eve started out quite sunny but some heavy showers in the late afternoon gave a wet surface - reflecting the tree lights nicely into the lens.
