It is hoped that this amenity area, now nearly completed, will be opened to the public early in the new year. A Greenway from Lough Lannagh through Rehins Woods and on to Islandeady has been sanctioned with cycle way linking to the Great Western Greenway. This will be a new tourism asset for the county, adding to the already acclaimed Great Western Greenway.
