Titanic Commemoration in Lahardaun

Addergoole Titanic Society held a memorial for the victims and survivors of the Titanic sinking at Lahardaun, Co. Mayo, early last thursday morning.

 

Descendants of people who were passengers on the Titanic holding lanterns while they wait their turn to ring the Timoney bell for their relatives in Lahardaun early Thursday morning organised by Addergoole Titanic Society. They are, from left to right, Geraldine Mulhern ringing for Nora Fleming, Patricia Joyce ringing for Mary Mangan, Pauline Barrett ringing for James Flynn, and Tommy Canavan ringing for Pat Canavan.
