Relay for Life Castlebar to be launched at the TF Royal Hotel

24 year old cancer-survivor Jennifer Hunt being supported by some members of the Relay for Life Castlebar committee.

Because Cancer never sleeps.....

Jennifer Hunt and the Relay for Life Castlebar Committee are asking everyone to come along to the launch of Relay for Life Castlebar 2012, this Thursday 29th March at 8pm in the TF Royal Hotel. Find out about how to get your teams organised, what they have to do and some great fundraising ideas.

What it's all about:
Relay for Life is an over night community celebration which honours current and former cancer patients, their families and friends. The event itself will take place on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th September.

One Day | One Night | One Community | One Fight

During the event teams of friends, neighbours, families and colleagues come together in groups of 15/20 people to take part in the event. Because cancer never sleeps, each team will have a representative on the track at all times during the 24-hour event. Otherwise team members are free to socialise, picnic, play games, enjoy 24 hour live entertainment and participate in lots of fun activities!

Everybody in the community is invited to come along on Thursday night whether you are looking to partake or not. Bring a friend and see what's it's all about!
