The children of sixth class in Breaffy N.S. recently held a jumble sale, cake sale, and fun day in their school to raise funds for three chariries Trocaire, Special Olympics and the Chernobyl Children’s Fund. The children participated in many fun filled activities (basketball shots, video games, go-cart rides etc,) and at the end of the day an incredible sum of 2,100 euro had been raised which was divided among the three charities. Well done to all involved. The children are pictured presenting a cheque for 700 Euro to Siobhan Sheil (Secretary Chernobyl Childrens Fund) and Marie Cox. (Chairperson Chernobyl Childrens Fund) also in the picture are Sean Grealis (teacher) and George Moran (Principal). Photo © Ken Wright Photography 2007
