CBE are developers and manufacturers of software for the Retail Sector.   The company has been very successful in the development and commercialisation of Supermarket Scanning Software, Hospitality Software for Hotels, Pubs and Restaurants.
The company were the first in the world to invent software that enables telephone top-ups to be sold through tills like any other shopping item rather than having to go through a separate terminal.

The company has grown from 3 people in 1980 to 110 people in 2007.

On Friday 13th July, CBE launched it's New Head Office & Research & Development Centre at IDA Business Park, Claremorris,
Co. Mayo.

The Official Opening & Blessing was preformed by Most Reverend Michael Neary, D.D. Archbishop of Tuam.

The Mass of Thanksgiving was preformed by Fr. Cathal Brennan, uncle of the CEO, Gerry Concannon.
