It's with great sadness that I learned this morning of the death of one of the great Castlebar men, Johnny Morgan. I've been lucky enough in the last few years to get to know Johnny quite well and he would put a smile in your heart with his stories and blackguarding. A real joker but a very genuine man, Johnny could command a room with his tales, many of which I'm sure will be recounted over the coming days and weeks. The Castle Inn will feel a lot emptier without one of the great characters. Sleep well Johnny.
