Turning the heel is an expression I will remember forever.I taught my daughter how to knit and had to bite my tongue everytime she would drop a stitch.I could still hear the teacher"RIP IT OUT ITS ALL WRONG".My two "older" sisters were great knitters.I have done my fair share.I knit an Aran jumper for a French friend one time.Lately I have not been very ambitious.I have been knitting wash cloths.They're easy to do ,dont require much concentration and are long lasting if knitted with cotton yarn.
