Was there not a disease free elm tree identified in or near Castlebar in recent years ?
Sad to see Mrs. Lyons retiring from the shop after so many years. The colour photograph of the shop which appeared on the cover of the parish magazine a few years ago has no doubt been retained by many for occasional nostalgic perusals.
May she have many happy years in retirement.
And sad to hear of Tossie`s passing. Another one of the old stock gone to his reward.
