I had a bad virus attack last Tuesday - took down the entire system. No immediate help from Microsoft or Symantec. Had to fix it the hard way. Traditional parishes had a parish priest and a curate or curates. However, some parishes were run by a curate who acted in the capacity of a parish priest and these parishes were called half parishes. Glenisland was a half parish of Islandeady. Ross was a half parish of Castlebar but was later included in Turlough even though Turlough didn't have a catholic church at the time. Maybe that why it was included.
