Yer Man,when I was talking about Addergoole/Eadargabail further down,I had meant to say that the dot over the g and the b gave it a soft sound rather than make it silent.I think the "buillte" was used with any consonant.It was still in use when I was National school.I cant recall if still in use in secondary school in the 60's.Murrisk ? Anyone?
